Dr. Parachuru is a multidisciplinary expert in engineering sciences and technology with decades of experience involving high level R&D, effective instruction, consulting, and expert witness testimony. He was an admired university educator and researcher where he managed to blend scientific rigor with real-world applications. His early work included the design of a manually operated yarn spinning machine with improved productivity for household use in rural Asia. This innovative development created in him a lifelong interest to solve complex real-world problems through the application of engineering and science knowledge.
He has served as a subject matter expert in more than 60 litigations across the United States. As an expert, he analyzed technology patents, polymer materials and products, fiber structures, textile performance, textile design, and data-based decision support practices. His world is powered by data, driven by curiosity, and cultivated with at most attention. Whether it's choosing the right nano finish for denim or identifying the right materials and design for a polymer implant, his unwavering focus will be on performance and durability. While serving as subject matter expert, he uses deep knowledge and simple expression of the same to reveal the truth. In court rooms and depositions, he comes out as a one-person think tank that displays expertise with credibility.
Turning uncertainty into clarity and helping others understand the systems that surround them has been his focus for the last decade. He utilizes the knowledge and experiences he gained for decades for technical problem-solving, product design and technical consulting. His current areas of interest include advanced materials, sustainable products & manufacturing technologies, and the integration of emerging technologies in consumer products and systems.
